So I am glad that school is almost over since I am so tired and stressed out, but have to admit that I am going to miss my friends at school. I know that for the most part I am not going to be in contact with most of the people that I talked to. I know that I am going to cry during graduation because all those memories with friends are going to come to my mind. I know my mother is going to my graduation and that's the most important thing that matters to me. I also hope that I get a better grade on my Global and Physics regents. I am glad that I am getting out of High School. I wish I could go back and fix some of the mistakes I made. But I don't regret any of my experiences. After high school I am not going to be coming to Hl as much as I do now but at least I learned a lot from everyone at HL.

Today Me, Dariel and our new Hl member went out on a story to discuss the swine flu epidemic with the local Harlemites. It was interesting to listen to peoples views on this recent "Hot Topic". I've been feeling a little ill today but don't worry it's probably because the last few days have been a bit hectic with all of our freinds and family from england visiting us with us. It's almost the end of the school year, "duh", and I'd like to give a shout out to all my fellow eighth graders who are hoping to graduate this year. I'm just trying to sit it out for these last few weeeks and hope I can pick up a few regents early.

Wowzers today was such a busy day.... In school we took a mock regents which was the second of two days and wrote 4 essays. I am extra tired and stressed... Jaanais is back (Yaaaaa) so we both scheduled an interview for women not receiving the money that they feel they deserve. I also tried to search for an additional story for myself that way I can have another story before I leave which would be in about a few weeks. It's been hard since not that many organizations are available. Real Regents are coming up soon so I've been studying hard like crazy. Also we have SATs THIS SATURDAY!!! I cannot wait until this school year is done because honestly I feel that the 11th grade is the worst. I really don't mean to complain but I really need a break. I want to end this year in a bang (knowing my school I don't think that is going to happen). Anyways I got to go and get back to work... Peace for now!

Hey EveryOne from Harlem Live, It has been really long time since I been here, But I came in today and ready to do work. I finished my editoral on my opioions about Abortions so hopefully that will be posted up soon. I am currently working on a story about the Stella Doro Strikers. They are a group of mostly women boycotting the factory they work in located on 237th and Broadway because they are asking for a better contract and better wages that are not being given to them. So in support of the strikers don't buy Stella Doro Products such as the breadsticks and cookies.
Leave Them on the Shelf!

Last Wednesday I did my first interview and it turned out to be pretty good. I was very nervous at first but as soon as I started asking questions I felt a little better and relived. I went to a bookstore in 112 street called Bank Street Bookstore. I interviewed the assistant manager and she was very friendly. She made me feel very comfortable and I felt real good during the interview. I guess it wasnt that bad after all...

Two weeks to go until "schools out for the summer". I finished editing the first video we've done on swine flu since the breakout started. Hopefully it's over soon and we don't have to do any more. I accidentally over the watered the office plants and started a mini flood in the main room. I really want to go to the art fest at "Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art" tomorrow. wazoo!!

Week 3 or 4:can't even remember... So many things are going on that my mind is having trouble keeping everything in order. Between school and my two jobs my life has become what I never thought it would be. I found myself eating a five dollar slice of cake in the city and I quickly went to thinking I was just a kid wanting to be an other street thug and look at me now. Eating a five dollar slice of cake and reading malcom X.

Hey I'm back in the NYC, and Im enjoying it. The weather is absolutely amazing down in Florida, Oh I saw Selly down in Sea World Orlando. I loved it but I loved the pool more. I finished my artical on the LGBT community. It should be posted in a few day but here is a little preview "I Christian Francis, I’m blackspaninezican (Black, Spanish, Native American,) and on top of being the United Nations I’m a bisexual man. I am an eighteen-year-old senior in High School. I have interviewed young adults and their many different views. I feel that many people don’t take the time, to truly see the LGBT youth or take the time to see that any youth in a community should all be treated with quall care, and concern. We gay youth are here and where tired of having to prove it. We love like you love, and we bleed the same color you bleed. To be in a world where there are thousands of different ethnicities, but people in these communities forget that there is only one race (HUMAN). As one race where all one peoples; colors, shapes, sexuality and ect. I love all people, and that should be the common feeling amongst us as a people. If more communities stressed that view of tolerance maybe the world, community-by-community will become a better place. Maybe love is in the air; maybe hope is on the horizon? I’m the ultimate optimist. Maybe others can start heading in that direction or not, but I feel you will be the better for it." hope you love it.

Today I feel so much better than yesterday. I've been reading Shakespeare in school and it's soo good. I've been reading Shakespeare since I was in 9 th grade and I love dissecting his literature. I helped Dariel with his first POS. I think their POS on Gay Marriage and the growth of states accepting gay marriage is interesting although there wasn't anyone against it. Yesterday I helped take care of the flowers with John. I learned that you should give baby plants a lot of water. They need a lot of caring just like a baby. My new favorite flowers are marigolds.
