In the wake of the September 11, 2001 tragedy, artists and musicians from across the nation have joined forces to use one of the planet's most powerul mediums in sparking change, delivering awarness, and to help with relief efforts. That change comes from the power of music. In the past, legendary artists such as Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Qunicy Jones, and U2 have lent their gifts of soul touching music to help try and put an end to world hunger and bring money to war raveged countries. With such ground braking work as "We Are The World" and "What's Going On", music has proven time and time again that it can not only touch hearts but that it can make a difference. And now, in light of the recent tragedy, the "King of Pop" has introduce to the world a message of peace and unity, a ballad entitled "Cry". Written and co-produced by R Kelly, the song makes a plea to people throughout the world. Callling upon heroes of all shapes, sizes, races, and nationalities, to lend a helping hand in bringing fourth a better world.
