Drum T.V.

by Kerly Suffren

Drum T.V. is an organization started by Mr.Richard Martin, who is currently an instructor for NYU's film and intertainment department. In his earlier years Mr. Martin also worked for NBC and WOR as a news Cameraman. Drum T. V, which creates and delivers quality programing to the Harlem community has a 2,500 square foot facility which includes offices, a studio, a control room and editing suites, all located right in the center of Harlem on West125th street.

When we visted them, they held a release party for the public. Their hopes are that the public will notice their services, and to in the future colaborate with other movie making organizations. Their lab consists of all the equipment needed to edit film and make movies as well as putting them on the air. They provide tutoring and classes for those interested in that field. Drum T.V. is very beneficial to the public, and hopefully it will help the dreams of individuals to reach the stars.
