Known as the thick and fabulous contestant on “America’s Next Top Model”, Tocarra was on the streets of 125th doing a “Person On The Street” for BET’s “Black Carpet”, a job we at HarlemLIVE perfect in. I contrasted between famous and teen reporters and found that there isn’t a very big difference when it comes to simply asking pedestrians questions. Tocarra herself was rejected by pedestrains that did and did not recognize her. The techniques she used to gather interviewee’s to get their opinions on the new product,showed me that her techniques are very similar to ours. HarlemLIVE isn’t too far away from the work BET airs on televison so they should watch out for the work we can do.

Working as a reporter, I watched as she ran the streets asking people if they mind participating in a on camera interview.As a reporter she was left with either a interviewee or a rejection. She moved from block to block and even went into the street for someone. I even witnessed her charm people to have them answer a few questions. Though she may be famous, I learned that many reporters are rejected for a interview. It doesn’t matter if your a teen that no one knows or someone whose seen on TV. Techniques that we at HarlemLIVE do on a “Person On The Street”were the same task
Tocarra took as she tracked down people to interview. She introduced herself and asked random people questions and when she was rejected she still kept a smile on her face.

One special technique we at HarlemLIVE use is to have our topic and use questions and follow ups from the top of our heads. She herself used that same technique. She was live and estatic as she asked people about her new item and made sure she entertained not only the interviewee but the viewers watching. She showed a example of what it took to be a reporter and I made sure I took tips.Watching her showed me that the skills we learn at HaremLIVE can get us to the same
postiton that Tocarra’s in.
