Do you know what an alternative high school is?

No but I think I heard something about on the news. It might be mixed facilities or something that has to deal with gym class, but I really don't know. I hope it has something that deals with the arts.

What's your first impression when you think of an alternative high school? Will not knowing anything about it.

He really didn't have a impression on what he thought a alternative high was, until we told him.

I really don't know because like I said, I really don't have a clear understanding on what a alternative is all about. I'll have to do some more reseach on it inoder for me to decide wether or not to send my child to an alternative high school or a stander elementry high school.

Why do you think the city esteablished alternative high school?

Will from what you have told me about alternative schools, I think that that city esteablished alternative schools because must kids aren't able to get the help that they need at home or for some reason the child may have problems learning in a big enviorment so they came up with a way for child are have these problems to learn at thier own pace in a smaller enviroment with teachers who are able to give extra attention.

Well I've heard that's it's a place where the city sends kids who are bad. You know, kid's who have behavior problems, mental problems, and who are to agresive.

If it was up me I wouldn't send my child to a public or alternative school I would inroll them in a private H.S just because of all the things that have been going on with public schools. i fell that they would do better and also I went to a private school. Eventhough it's exspeniveit's wearth it.

Like I said just by the name alternative I think that's where they send the bad kid's who need spcial help.

Yes I do, I work at family accademy as social worker.

What is your first impression when you think of an Alternative high school? .

It's a place where kid's can get a little extra helpif needed and are able to work at thier own pace. Also the kid's don't hav e to feel as if they have learning problem because they are excluded from everyone like in a stander school they have spical - education class who have trouble learning then others.

Well from off the top of my head I am guessing it has to deal with eduation for bright and creative students, just from the name.

After hearing a liitle from what you have just expainled to, I think that would probly send my child to an alternative school.

I think to help young kids who live in a enviormennt where opptuines are of having a good eduacation are slim the city decided to help kids bring out the creative part in them.
