Roberto
R. Marshall:
I
feel that Al gore seems to be really concerned about the global warming
issue. He appears to take the subject as seriously as I personally
think it should be taken. On an hour special on ABC, where he was
interviewed by Peter Jennings, peter pointed out Gore's serious concern
for it. Even several times emphasizing that he was exaggerating over
it. Gore even proposed a multi-million-dollar initiative to battle
global warming. Gore is concerned that the global warming causes an
increase in fog, leading to more respiratory problem among children.
Al
Gore: "The future holds significance higher temperatures still unless
we do something about it." Gore seems not only seems concerned with
the present issue but what could happen in the future if nothing is
done about it now. This can be seen through his quote. His opinions
in general, include this one shows he is concerned for the eviorment
because it effects the people. Gore plans to follow the Kyoto climate
treaty, a treaty that was designed to reduce the amount of gases in
the air. George Bush, however, feels the treaty is "ineffective, inadequateŠa
bad deal for America and Americans." If the presidential elections
were based on this issue, I would go for Al Gore. He seems concerned
for the people, and knows the nature effects the people. Therefore
he realized the concern is equal.
