Who should we vote for and why? I went around Harlem Live and interviewed several students all attending Central Park East Secondary School. I wanted to know if they were old enough to vote, who would they vote for and why? Every singal student said if they were old enough to vote they would vote for Mr. Gore.

Neruda age 16 said, " I would vote for Gore because he's a Democrat and I think Republicans are racist. I'd rather have a Democrat in the office because I'm a Democrat too. When Gore is in the office he should legalize the use of Marijuana because then the use of it will be all right. If you legalize it you take it away from the hands of the human man and put it into the hands of big companies like Newport."

Dominique also voted for Al Gore she says, " I like the way things were running when Bill Clinton was President a lot of things were improved, and since Gore was vice-president that means Gore and Clinton were on the same page." I asked Dominique "What should the president that is going to be elected do when he's in the office"?, and she said, " Help with Homelessness because it's something I see everyday but shouldn't".

Then there are people that don't believe in either side. Ariel age 16 says, "I won't vote for anyone. I don't really care as long as he protects my country."
