The programs that are at Hansborough for children are swimming, basketball, homework help, arts and crafts, board games, table hockey, and others. The after school program gives kids something to do rather than being in the street doing wrong.

In the summer, they plan trips, but during the school year, they only have about three hours to spend with the children and don't generally go on trips.

This year, Hansborough began charging $30 a month to pay for extra help. There are still openings for kids to join if you want to sign up. The after school program is for children 7-12, however there are other activities for older children and adults.

The Hansborough center is very popular on Saturdays when they have their African Dance and swimming classes.

I think these programs and classes are a great help for kids to do better in life than in being in the street.
