Breast implants, a dangerous subject. It's not all about turning your small boobs into big boobs. There are many consequences or complications that may follow a breast implant surgery.

Problems may occur in many parts of the procedure. People might have a bad reaction to just the first part of this surgery. Anesthesia must be given to the patient before anything can be done and in this part alone complications include nausea, vomiting and fever. If you pass the first step without any problems, just wait to hear what could happen during the actual procedure.

When you are about to have the surgery, in other words, when you are in the operating room about to go under the knife, first they'll give you anesthesia. Then the doctor will make a small incision on the side or under the breast and implant the silicone behind the boob.

Sometimes mistakes are made.

After the surgery, a problem called hematoma might happen. This is internal bleeding, bruising, swelling and pain, which may cause the victim to want to drain the implant surgically. What that means is the doctor will have to perform another surgery to take out the implant.

Surgical implants are more trouble than they are worth. If you get a breast enlargement the odds of you getting breast cancer are greater because of the fact that if you have a lump in your breast, which may or may not be cancer, it will be harder for the doctor to find it. After the surgery is complete, the implant may harden because of the scar tissue. Also, the implant may leak or deflate. Sensitivity of the nipple may decrease as well due to the foreign object (silicone) placed in you breast. There is also an element known as platinum, which is used as a catalyst in all implant shells. This element may cause respiratory and digestive problems.

So in conclusion, if you think breast implants will improve your looksÉthink again! I'm sure you're beautiful with the breast size you were born to have, besides the fact that there are many other aspects to a woman being beautiful despite the size of her boobs. Why is everything about appearance? Doesn't anyone care about what's inside anymore? Like what kind of person you are. It's like I said beforeÉIt's Not About Big Boobs! It's what's inside that counts and hopefully what's inside is not silicone!

    jumping to 132,378 in 1998.
