My full name is Antoinette Teresa Mullins. I was born in New York City on May 21, 1985. My family consists of my Mom, who is from Alabama, my dad, who is from Barbados and my two older brothers, Marc and Randy. Gimbya is also apart of our family; she is an 8-month-old dog, a Chow Chow. I watch a lot of TV and movies, which is the why I am thinking about doing Special Effects in movies. My top five favorite movies are The Gladiator, Run Lola Run (It's a German Movie), The Matrix, Gods and Monsters and Dogma. I watch too much TV to narrow it down to a top five list, but some of my favorite programs are The WWF, Boston Public, Xena (which I have watched since the 4th grade), Roswell, Dark Angel and SNL. Music is also huge part of my life. I always have a Walkman with me everywhere I go. I am a big fan of such bands and artist as Sevendust, Alien Ant Farm, Bush, Goo Goo Dolls and Saggy. I attend Beacon High School; right now I am going on to the 11 grade. Beacon is a Technology school and my middle school, Computer School Two, was also based around technology so over the years I have developed a taste in Graphic Design and an interest in Special Effects. However I have not decided exactly what I want to major in when I go to college. Other than Graphic Design and Special Effects I am leaning towards writing. I hope to decide upon what I want to have a career in before the year is out. At HarlemLive my job is mainly writing. However I am looking to expand my role as a writer into a more technical basis. This is the main reason why I am interested in the SheThang section on HarlemLive. It is a section that focuses around writing, but it also revolves around technical aspects, where girls can learn how to post stories and dabble in web design. Which is very important at Harlemlive because I see how the boys here take on a more technical role and the girls take on a lot of the writing and reporting aspects. So SheThang would bring a lot of diversity to the different roles at HarlemLive.
