Pat Kelly

Freelance Photojournalist/Educator

Hello. My name is Pat Kelly

Currently, I teach social studies at IS 302 in East New York, Brooklyn, while completing graduate studies in computer technology at Columbia University, in May, 1999

I came here as a freelance photojournalist who has published in Essence, Black Diaspora, the Community Journal, and other publications.

As a college student, I visited over 22 African, European, and Caribbean nations, beginning with my sophmore year at the Univeristy of Ghana, in Legon, Ghana, West Africa.

One of the most rewarding projects is the completion of educational videos capturing the photography of my travels so I can share them with my students.

I love working with the students here at HarlemLive because they have their pulse on a medium we can all use to communicate with the world.

 (Hear Pat shout out)
