My name is Maya Williams, I am a Libra, shout out to all Libras, and a new member at Harlemlive. I am here because I love writing, and would one day love to publish my own work of poetry. Through writing Iam able to express what's inside of me at the moment, or what is going on in our world. I am a big music fan. My music icon is Stevie Wonder. I LOVE STEVIE!! My favorite rappers are Eve and Missy Elliot. My favorite actors are Denzel Washington and Angela Bassett, back to why I'm here. I am here because I want to be able to share my many writing talents that I have been blessed with.

I am here because I hope to be able to show my fellow youth that anything they want can be achieved. To be able to contribute to this magazine in as many ways as possible.
