My name is Aisha Al-Muslim. I
was born on February 28, 1986 in the Republic of Panama. I am currently
a sophomore at Lehman College. My major is Multilingual Journalism and
I minor in Italian and Black Studies. I am currently an alumna at HarlemLIVE.
I have been with HL since February 2003 and I plan to stay for many years
to come. HL is a great place to learn and meet wonderful people. I write
articles and I edit my video stories for HarlemLIVE. Besides HL, I am
also involved with my school newspaper the Meridian www.lcmeridian.com
and WHLC the radio station at my school. I am a member and scholarship
recipient for two years in a row of the National Association for Hispanic
Journalists (NAHJ). I am also a member of the National Association of
Black Journalists (NABJ). |
