Advisor
I am manager of professional development and classroom applications at the Institute for Learning Technologies, Teachers College, Columbia University. As part of the Eiffel Project (www.ilt.columbia.edu), I work with teachers everyday to help them learn the technical skills necessary to effectively use the Web in their classrooms. HarlemLive is exciting to me because it directly brings opportunity and access to the people who need it most--the kids. Richard Calton has managed to move from the normal rhetoric we hear about "what kids need" to practical implementation. I'm honored to serve as an advisor and friend of HarlemLive.
