Here I am being silly!

Hi my name is Mellonie Scott I was born on December 5,1983 in Harlem Hospital. I attend school at The Young Women's Leadership School, which is located in East New York. I'm in the ninth grade and my favorite subject is biology. I like biology because I plan to become a Forensic Scientist and this gives me a head start because I'm learning topics that I will need in that field. I also like science fiction because it seems exciting to me and I always seem to learn more.

In my household I am the only girl. I have five brothers two are older than I am and the remaining three are younger. My two older brothers are 19 and 20 and my younger brothers are 9 (twins) and 2. Sometimes that environment can get very lonesome so then I call on my mother or my friends to hang out with. When I talk to my mother we usually talk about non-sense like things only her and me would understand. We do other things that most mothers and daughters do like we go shopping, to the movies and just for a drive anywhere. I think that it is good that my mother and me have such a good relationship because we can go to each other for advice or help.

My favorite hobbies are reading, writing, playing basketball, running, and rollerblading. I enjoy playing sports because it helps me stay physically fit and it also helps me calm down when I am upset or bored. I use these sports and more to keep me focused and to keep me occupied because they keep me out of trouble. I like to read and write because it is a necessity for every day life when I can't play sports I do these things to keep me occupied. Because of my hobbies I have been called a "tomboy" on many occasions. I see myself sometimes as being a tomboy because I like to be comfortable and I like baggy jeans because they fit me to my own specifications.
