Conducting Searches on The World Wide Web

You generally will find a page that looks somewhat like the following.

In the blank white space you would type in one or more key words. These could be separated by the words AND / OR. These could be in Quotes "", or a combination of both. The idea is to narrow down your search to what it is you're specifically looking for, as there is a ton of material out there in cyber space.

A search on MJ's Hair turned up references to the time he burned his locks during taping of a Pepsi commercial.

At the bottom of each search result, you'll see a button linking you to further pages of results that may relate to your topic.
Search engines are becoming more sophisticated and it's becoming possible to even type in questions written in sentences such as: "What is the normal diet of people living in China?"

and, as mentioned before, at the bottom of the page, you can click on any of the next set of 20 pages that have links that refer to your search.
