Bushonomics
by:Nkrumah Tinsley

With Bush in his second term as President of the United States the American public is in for a Continuation to the war on terror. The Question on Everybody’s mind is when will the administration pull-out of Iraq and what nation will be next on Dubya's hit list.
Amidst a mounting body count George Bush continues to justify our troops being Iraq by saying the world is safer without Saddam Hussein. This is a tragic misquote. The original reason the world was told to back the war in the first place was because of the threat of weapons of mass destruction.

To this day not one iota has been found. Now there is increasing evidence that Saddam never had enough money or technology to even possess a threat to the mighty United States. DUHH.
I suggest Bush's opponents should get together and from their own political party. Defeating republicans is not a necessity. The focus should be on creating a system that is not crooked. Socialist should unite with liberals and independents to form a super party. This party would provide free health care, rent stabilization, and lower tuition (preferably half off). Hopefully a super party will destroy the need to vote by making the basic human necessities readily available to all.

Last Wednesday I implemented this very strategy. Upon leaving work on Union- Square, I happened upon a modest yet well- organized pro-democracy rally. Most of the participants stressed the need for government reform. Among the topics: a more diplomatic Middle Eastern policy. The second concern voiced by a great number of the protesters was the growing concern of the Bush administrations inability to capture the infamous Osama Bin Laden. Understanding the Vietnam era atmosphere in this country and abroad I found myself in no willing position to argue with the “masses”.

I decided to take action. I walked around and got a few in-depth opinions from the people on hand. After careful consideration I took personal info from a hand full. From there with each individual I made it a fact to explain that the best thing for us to do is to form our own political party. As a whole our belief is that if nobody listens to us we will scream until the world is aware that we have as much right to a peaceful democracy as the next man. The one thing I promised myself on that day is that even if I took the initiative to meet them. There knowledge of politics is why they will be strategically placed above me in rank. This way I can learn as much as I can. In short through organization I want to learn how to be the best role player that I can be. By the time I left Union Square I had obtained about 10 names, numbers and e-mails.

There is also the little issue of Skull and Bones. The secret society building is housed on the campus of Yale University. Among other members of this secret society is Democratic Presidential candidate John Forbes Kerry. While there is no concrete proof that Bush and Kerry are working together I still have my suspicions about how much closer we the people could be to either candidate than the candidates themselves (since they do share the same "secret" history).

I also want Bush to win a second term in power so that the American people can finally feel the pinch of crookedness. Bill Clinton was seen as an adulterer but his un-faithful ways were overlooked because of his track record as far as the economy went. With bush there is and will be no such luck. With a second term I am "praying" that the mass of this country will finally realize that if money decides politics the little man will never I repeat never get a fair shake (Or half as meat loaf sandwich)
Finally the Cuban issue though Bush talks a good game about freeing the people of Cuba. He has no real basis behind his complaints. Cuban Doctors this past year found cures for measles and childhood meningitis. If this feet is not impressive put into perspective the Cubans must contend with an embargo that greatly hampered its ability to import medicines and equipment for economic as well as social development.

Hopefully my point is clear as long as Bush is in office this country will see a change in the future. Hopefully the international community will go easy on the innocent hardworking average Joe American. If they don't may- we all pray that this relationship gets through the hard times with minimal damage.
