As I stood on the stage and waited to receive my diploma I couldn’t help but reminisce to the days when I was just a freshman attending Life High School. I never really knew the significant meaning of the name, but now I figured it out. Life was something I was promised and throughout the years, I would reach a high point that’ll school me about my future.I don’t want to say that I failed my freshman year, but I will admit that I didn’t do very well on my test. I can remember the first one clearly. Like any human, I knew that I can pass with flying colors. There was no need to study or refresh my mind with the help from former students of that class because this was a piece of cake.
I overlooked the questions and knew the answers from the top of my head. When the time to test my skills came, I failed, with flying colors. It wasn’t until my sophomore year that I figured that studying and being tutored by fellow students was my main focus. When the test arrived I knew, just like in my freshman year, that I was ready. I knew that I could pass with flying colors. I didn’t fail but I didn’t pass with flying colors, but I knew the skills I built up in my freshman and sophomore year was my main key to pass that test next year.
When I was promoted to be a Junior I knew that I had it and that test that was coming was nothing to me. I can pass with flying colors. I then found out that I was chosen to take an advance class. Not only was I happy but I knew that I would be ahead and that studying harder then I did in my freshman and sophomore year would pay off. Not only that but forming my own skills. As that advance test approached, I knew that I can pass with flying colors. I passed the test but not with flying colors because it didn’t make it on the teacher’s bulletin board for best work.
Now, facing my senior year I knew that if I didn’t pass then I wouldn’t graduate out of Life High School. No matter what I did I had to work harder then I did in my freshman, sophomore and junior year.
I had to maintain that confidence, study my hardest, get some tutoring from old students, make my own skills and actually pass with flying colors. I use the same method every year and I never pass with flying colors so instead of one I took two. Two test in my senior year and if I didn’t pass with flying colors I’ll never leave part one of Life High School. I took methods from my junior, sophomore and freshman year and put that together.I took the confidence I had in my freshman year, the studying tutoring I had in my sophomore year and the advancement I had in my junior year and put that together. I passed the test, with flying colors but I didn’t allow the teacher to staple my results on the bulletin board. I didn’t want to count those test because to me they weren’t test that would give you points.
They were test that would lead you to a higher step. That higher step was the step I took to get on that stage to receive my diploma.
So as I look back at Astrid, my first test and failed I knew what I did wrong and learned from it. I basically had no game and she let me figure that. So with that I studied Kimberly, my second test, and asked her former mates for some tutoring and she ended up cheating on me with one of my best friends. When I started dating Vanessa, I knew that I was advanced because she was older then me. Though she was happy I wasn’t and I ended up cheating on her with Rebecca. For my last and final test, I wanted something different and I wanted to take everything I learned with me. So I took the confidence I had towards Astrid in my freshman year, I studied Kimberly a little more and took her cheating and manipulating skills along with the tips I got from her past boyfriends and I took the advancement I had from Vanessa and for my senior year I decided to mess with two women at the same time.
I wasn’t only confident but I was manipulating both Astrid and Kimberly by studying them, who were best friends. Emphasize on were. Though I passed, with flying colors, I didn’t feel that I needed to be acknowledged. As I was seeing both Astrid and Kimberly, Vanessa came back pleading for me and her to get back together. In the back of my mind I decided to go for the triple threat, but then again I didn’t want triple threats if each female found out about each other. I called it off with Astrid and Kimberly and told Vanessa that I didn’t think it was time for a new relationship.
Though I could have easily gone on with the test and passed with flying colors, I finally figured that I was promoted to the next step beyond Life High School. I went through a certain part of life and through there I experienced a high for each test which schooled me on something different. When Vanessa handed me my diploma, with her signature on it as well as her partner, the assistant principle Rebecca, I knew that I had much more to life and that those skills I gained in Life High School would really pay off. I wonder what courses I’ll take in college?........
