My Future

by Nicole Farrow

I know exactly what I want to do, when I want to do it, and how it is going to be done. After my senior year in high school I am going to attend the University of Virginia. During my sophomore year at the University of Virginia, I will intern at Goldmansachs- the investment banking firm. Once I graduate from the University of Virginia I will attend one of the top business schools in the country and earn my MBA. After I receive my MBA, I will return to Goldmansachs and replace the current president.

By the time that I am twenty-nine, I will be a multi-millionaire, driving a Rolls Royce, and happily married to Kobe Bryant. Not only will my financial status be sufficient but my familyÕs status would be sufficient as well. I will buy a home is Beverly Hills, California, and build my parents a home not too far away. I will buy my father the S-Class Mercedes he always wanted. My brother and my sister, of course, will be well off as well. Every month my whole family including Kobe will get together and have a reunion and we will all live happily ever after.

But... What happens if I donÕt become a multi-millionaire, I couldnÕt afford my Rolls Royce, and my mortgage for my house was denied. What if, Kobe rejected my hand in marriage, and I couldnÕt get my father the S-Class Mercedes he always wanted. What if I couldnÕt get the internship at Goldmansachs, let alone become the president. What if I didnÕt become successful all because my acceptance letter from the University of Virginia said "IÕm sorry Nicole Pharaoh, but your are not accepted to the University of Virginia."

Where would I be then?

LOST!!!!
