Dear Uncle

When it’s time to say goodbye
I get all teary eyed
I think about the time we spent
I think about the path you went

You are a role model more than you know
The whole community will miss you so
The impact you made will be unmet
The lessons you taught will always be kept

So Uncle, now I say to you
I won’t be sad, I won’t be blue
I’ll remember your spirit and all that you are
Now you're at peace, you’re among the stars
