I
look to you only to see my destiny,
But they say our love can never be! I listen to rhythmic beating of your heart, But mine has been torn apart! I look to a beauty I have never seen, But my eyes play tricks because they are so mean! I reach for a hope and maybe a way, But with each passing day, You slip farther and farther away! How can I sway my heart to obey For I can not love a goddess this way! If only she could feel my pain everyday Because without her, my life is in disarray How can I tell her I love her And not to be with her If only I was sure That this love was pure But alas fear I could never be with her For she is like a dove Alas my unrequited love!
