Seven Brave Men
by: Kelvin Christie

In a time of war we losted seven brave men.
What was the purpose of their losted lives?
Was it to strike fear within sadam Hussain?
To show him we too are ignorant to give away our lives?
Well There goes their humiliating lost and found body parts.
Of those who pledged to their country their final allegiance?
It was a precarved marinating turkey was their homecoming.
On every ones plate that stand there with their mouth open.
Now all we need is some collard greens to have a proper feasting.
But still their love ones mourn,
Using their hands to control their trembling lips.
With a pain inside too great for them to bare
Add to their watery eyes, which raked from their lips a voice of despair.
Our government quickly began their investigation.
To question our government conclusion,
Were their death negligence or humiliation?
