“Stand Up”
PARL
T.I. emerged as a star in the rap game and
the self proclaimed King of the South after his sophomore
album, Trap Music was released. His latest album Urban Legend
isn't as good but it isn't far from it. On the last album
you could hear his hunger, this time around he's more cocky
after becoming one of the hottest artists in the industry.
T.I. isn't as creative as he was last album on T.I. vs.
T.I.P. but tracks like You Don't Know Me and A.S.A.P. have
the same affect. Get Loose displays T.I.'s calmer, cooler
demeanor while tracks like Motivation and Stand Up briefly
discuss the beef. One of the few complaints on this album
is the amount of featured guest, although they are big names,
they take away from T.I. This album was one of the better
rap albums of the year and ranks in the top two for the
fourth quarter. It's a must have for any rap lovers collection.
