What Was It Like? When I saw the FUBU window, I didn't think it was all that great, but anyone who can get their own window in the world's largest department store (Macy's) has to be given some sort of recognition . Otherwise the showcase is real nice. I recommend that you see it for yourself and decide.
What Was Said ? Mandela : Do you think that FUBU (For Us By Us ) as a company will ever pursue business outside of the fashion industry? Team FUBU: "Right now our main goal is to make clothing .We don't know if we will ever take that up, but it is definitely a possibility." Mandela: Most of the time when I go to a clothing store, my Mom says she will buy it for me , but when she see's the price , she does not want to buy it because it's so expensive . Please try to make your clothing a little more inexpensive. Team FUBU : "Your mother is definitely right, but we can't change our material because we want to give our customers the best . Our clothes are priced by the material used to make them, plus our prices are already 10 percent lower than other clothing companies ."
Background Information In 1992, Daymond John J. Alexander Martin, Carl Brown, and Keith Perrin started a small clothing company called FUBU. Team FUBU won the Essence Award in 1999.
