A diverse crowd of over a thousand gathered Saturday November 4th at the Harlem State Office building (Adam Clayton Powell Jr.) in much anticipation over the arrival of President Clinton. The event was a final promo in favor of Democratic Party members Vice President Al Gore for presidency and 1st lady Hillary Rohdman Clinton for New York State Senate. President Clinton gave a riveting speech denouncing the republican parties views and ideals on tax reform and Housing. " We start Dividing up the nation we fail as a country". This led the crowd into a spirited cheer that could be heard in Bronx. With the crowd in the palm of his hand he finished off with three questions: 1) Do you want to keep this prosperity going and to give it to people who need it? 2) Do you want to build on the progress of the past 8 years and build upon that? 3) And do you want to keep building one American community to keep going forward as a country? Each question was answered with a sharp statement announcing Al Gore Joe Liberman and Hillary Clinton Charles Rengel as the answer to America's dire needs.
