Inner Demons

by Elliot Price

As wisdom comes with age,
I look for the next chapter in my life,
But can't find the page.

I've been set back so many times,
That old memories come up vividly as I write these rhymes.

But yet my life is so out of focus,
That if I passed my self on the street I wouldn't even notice.

God is in my life so I can stay stable,
Sometimes it seems like my life is a book of fables.

Everyone has been in one or more fights,
I need help,
so I use glasses to see to my life,
Don't get me wrong I'm proud of many things,
It's just too many nightmares and not enough dreams.

So as I look inside my self,
To find myself,
I see physical thoughts,
Which questions my health.
