An Intergenerational Dialogue on Civil Rights was sponsored by Community Works, New York City as part of its "Long Walk to Freedom" exhibition and community events. The event was held at the Schomburg Center in Harlem, where about two to three hundred were in attendance. The event at the Schomburg was just one of many that are being held throughout the year to commemorate the century long struggle for human and civil rights in the United States. A panel discussion with audience comments and questions was just one of the sessions held during the day long conference. The panel, moderated by the Reverend Alfonso Wyatt featured Randall Dottin, manager of Impact Repertory Theater; Sha-King Graham, youth organizer with Youth Force; Liz Howort, youth activist at Beacon High School; Maisha Moses, of the Algebra Project; Hector Luis Rivera, of the Point Community Development Center; and Jason Warwin, co-director of The Brotherhood/Sister Sol.
